Patronal Feast of Saint Leo the Great and Saint Roch

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Leo the Great and Saint Roch brought Sperlonga to life from September 6 to 8. On Saturday the 6th, the musical evening in Piazza Colombo with the Body & Soul Band opened the festivities after the meditated rosary and the band's parade. On Sunday the 7th, the solemnity of Saint Leo the Great, the concelebrated mass presided over by the Archbishop of Gaeta preceded the procession with the saint's statue through the city streets, followed by the concert of the S. Giorgio a Liri Grand Wind Orchestra conducted by Maestro Carlo Morelli in Piazza Europa. On Monday the 8th, for the solemnity of Saint Roch, after the mass and the procession to the sea, the Phoenix Gospel Choir performed in Piazza Fontana before the midnight fireworks display by Scarsella Fireworks, the traditional closing of the festival on the sea of the Pontine village.
