Edition 2025 — Saint Lawrence Feast

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Lawrence the Martyr took place on August 10th in Sogliano Cavour. As per tradition, the town celebrated its patron saint with religious services and the procession of the saint's statue, Salento illuminations lit along the streets of the historic center, a brass band, food stalls with local products, and a final fireworks display on the night of the shooting stars.

On August 10, 2025, Sogliano Cavour renewed its devotion to Saint Lawrence the Martyr, the patron saint of the Salento town in the province of Lecce. The day combined, as it does every year, religious and secular dimensions: the procession of the saint's statue through the historic center, accompanied by a brass band, the characteristic Salento illuminations, and food stands with sweets and local products. The festival concluded with the traditional fireworks display, set against the evocative backdrop of the night of the shooting stars.
