Patronal Feast of Saint Lawrence

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Lawrence in Castello di Brianza took place on Sunday, August 10th. The solemn mass at 10:30 AM was presided over by Father Antonello Rossi, a Consolata missionary, assisted by deacon Alessandro Misuraca, Father Giuseppe Riva, and parish priest Father Walter Brambilla. During the homily, dedicated to the meaning of martyrdom, Father Antonello recalled his own 50th anniversary of priesthood and the years spent in African missions. At the end of the celebration, some children went up to the altar to admire a work depicting Saint Lawrence, while the festivities continued with a lunch in the parish oratory.
