Patronal Feast of Saint Lawrence and Saint Lawrence Fair

The 2025 patronal feast

As every year, on August 10, 2025, the community of San Lorenzo Nuovo in the province of Viterbo gathered around its patron saint. The statue of Saint Lawrence was carried in procession at sunset through the streets of the 18th-century historic center, followed by the faithful, the local confraternity, and the marching band, before returning to the parish church that dominates the octagonal square. The evening continued in Piazza Europa with bingo and the festivities of the 'Estate Sanlorenzana'.

On August 11, the Saint Lawrence Fair traditionally filled the town streets with stalls and vendors, attracting visitors from all over the Upper Viterbo area and coinciding with the inaugural evening of the 46th edition of the Gnocchi Festival, which enlivened Piazza Europa until August 20.
