Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint John
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint John the Baptist renewed the centuries-old tradition that links Genoa to its patron saint. The vigil on June 23rd saw bonfires and the Ghost Tour animating the historic center, while on June 24th, the procession of the Casacce carried the Silver Ark and the processional Christs from the Cathedral of San Lorenzo to the Old Port.
As every year, the day concluded with the blessing of the sea and the city, in a moment of strong religious and civil value for the Genoese community.
