Patronal Feast of Saint James the Apostle

The 2025 Patronal Feast of Saint James the Apostle in Galati Mamertino was celebrated on July 24th and 25th. On July 24th, the eve, the morning featured solemn bell ringing and opening firecrackers, the brass band parade through the village, and Holy Masses; in the afternoon, the procession of the relics and the saint's statue took place, with a fireworks display during the stop in the Sant'Antonino district. In the evening, bands performed—including the "Giuseppe Verdi" Band of Galati Mamertino and the "Augusto Daolio" band of Acquedolci—followed by the musical show of the DeColores Band and a DJ set.

On July 25th, the day of the Apostle, celebrations culminated in the afternoon with the solemn procession; the night offered the final major musical event with the Skaricamu Band, with the closing entrusted to the Sunrise Beats DJ set. A festival that confirmed the strong bond of the local community with its patron saint.
