Patronal Feast of Saint Guniforte

The patronal feast of Saint Guniforte in Casatisma was renewed in 2025, according to tradition, on the fourth Sunday of August. The village of Oltrepò Pavese gathered around the 16th-century church dedicated to the saint, the focal point of the religious celebrations, to honour a patron whose figure is rooted in the evocative medieval legend of the greyhound venerated by the people. Alongside moments of faith, there were also convivial events typical of village festivals, in a simple atmosphere tied to the agricultural roots of the territory.
