Edition 2025 — Saint George in Petrella Tifernina

On April 23, 2025, Petrella Tifernina honoured its patron saint Saint George the Martyr with a procession and religious celebrations, accompanied by the village's gastronomic traditions: a day of faith and community identity in the heart of the Molise spring.

In 2025, the Patronal Feast of Saint George the Martyr renewed the devotion to the patron saint in Petrella Tifernina. The community gathered for celebrations in the Church of Saint George and for the procession of the saint's statue through the historic centre, in the spirit of popular and gastronomic traditions of the village – the 'priest's hats' and the wheat and chickpea 'ricciata' – which have always accompanied the occasion.
