Edition 2025 — Saint George the Martyr
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint George the Martyr in Arcinazzo Romano, Lazio, featured its two traditional moments. On April 23rd, the liturgical commemoration took place with a solemn mass and the exposition of various saints' relics in the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta.
The secular festival was held on August 23rd and 24th in Piazza Santa Lucia: inflatables and children's games, food stalls, a fireworks display, and two musical evenings featuring a tribute to Pino Daniele and a tribute to Claudio Baglioni. On the morning of August 24th, also in the square, honorary citizenship was conferred upon His Excellency Monsignor Rino Fisichella. The heart of the celebrations remained the procession with the statue of Saint George on horseback and the silver icon, accompanied by the local brass band.
