Edition 2025 — Saint Gennaro Marsico Nuovo
In 2025, Marsico Nuovo also celebrated its patron saint Saint Gennaro with the traditional fair of goods and livestock, religious rites, the solemn procession, and musical performances, in the heart of a Val d'Agri summer.
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Gennaro confirmed the strength of a centuries-old tradition. Marsico Nuovo came alive with the ancient fair, a meeting and trading event that has always attracted exhibitors from all over Basilicata, with the solemn mass and the patron saint's procession through the historic center, and with a calendar of concerts, shows, and fireworks. An edition that reaffirmed the community's deep bond with its protector saint.
