Patronal Feast of Saint Donatus

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Donatus in Anzi took place from August 5th to 8th. After the novena (July 29th-August 6th) with celebrations at the Sanctuary and in the Mother Church, on August 6th the candlelit procession accompanied the Saint to the Sanctuary, with a mass in the square at 11:00 PM. August 7th and 8th featured solemn masses presided over by the Metropolitan Archbishop Emeritus and processions between the Sanctuary and the Mother Church. The civil program offered the fair in Contrada San Donato, dancing evenings, and concerts, including a tribute to Ligabue and a performance by Massimo Di Cataldo; the grand finale was the midnight fireworks display by Colangelo Fireworks on August 8th.
