Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Columba

On Friday, July 18, 2025, the Municipality of Alta Val Tidone celebrated its patron saint, Saint Columba. The day began in Nibbiano with the naming of the kindergarten, continued in Pecorara with the solemn Mass in the Church of San Giorgio Martire presided over by the Bishop of Piacenza-Bobbio, and concluded at the Molato dam with food trucks and an evening concert.

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Columba took place on Friday, July 18, 2025, in the Municipality of Alta Val Tidone, province of Piacenza. The morning began at 10 AM in Nibbiano with the naming of the State Kindergarten after Mother Anna Maria Canopi, a religious figure connected to the area.

At 11 AM, in the Church of San Giorgio Martire in Pecorara, the Solemn Mass was celebrated, presided over by Monsignor Adriano Cevolotto, Bishop of the Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio, with the traditional gesture of lighting the votive lamp by the mayor and the awarding of the Civic Merit. In the evening, at the Molato dam, food truck stands opened at 7:30 PM, followed at 9:30 PM by a concert by the group Uva Rara.
