Edition 2025 — Palio of Saint Clement

From September 12 to 14, 2025, Canino celebrated the Patronal Feast of Saint Clement Martyr with the fifteenth edition of the Palio of Saint Clement. Three days of faith and tradition, featuring a solemn mass by the Bishop of Viterbo, the "Melodies for Pope Paul III" sacred concert, the procession of relics, and the half-blood horse race in the historic center, the highlight of the festivities.

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Clement Martyr took place in Canino from Friday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14, blending spirituality and popular tradition.

Friday, September 12 opened with a 6:00 PM solemn mass in the Collegiate Church, celebrated by the Bishop of Viterbo, Monsignor Orazio Francesco Piazza, followed in the evening by a dinner in the square organized by the Saint Clement Committee.

Saturday, September 13, after the afternoon celebration, the Collegiate Church hosted the "Melodies for Pope Paul III" concert at 6:30 PM with the Quartet of the Roman Instrumental Ensemble; at 9:00 PM, the evocative procession of the relics of Saint Clement took place through the village streets.

Sunday, September 14 featured the 11:00 AM solemn mass and, in the afternoon, the Palio of Saint Clement: the parade of half-blood horses and the historic race in the center, the fifteenth edition dedicated to the memory of Paolo Tascio.
