Patronal Feast of Saint Blaise and Saint Agatha

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Venaus, in the Susa Valley, renewed the ritual of the Spadonari and the Savoiarde. On February 3rd, the feast of Saint Blaise, the 11:00 AM Holy Mass was followed by the Dance of the Spadonari on the church square. On Sunday, February 9th, the octave of the saint, a procession and solemn mass preceded a new performance by the Spadonari with the Venausina Philharmonic, repeated in the afternoon at the Borgata 8 dicembre. Among the side events were a dance evening with the I Roeri orchestra, a card tournament, and a book presentation in the municipal library.
