Patronal Feast of Saint Bernardino of Siena

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast followed the established pattern: days of religious preparation, a solemn procession with the wooden statue of Saint Bernardino carried on the shoulders of the faithful, a flower festival laid along the streets of the center, and secular events including a fair, food stalls, evening shows, and final fireworks.

The program was announced by the Municipality of Piansano (Province of Viterbo, Lazio) in mid-May 2025 and carried out by the festival committee in collaboration with the Pro Loco and the Parish of Saint Bernardino of Siena. As every year, the festival also attracted many Piansano natives living elsewhere, for whom this May appointment is the main annual return to their hometown.
