Edition 2025 — Saint Benedict the Abbot Feast
The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Benedict the Abbot took place in Caporciano (AQ) according to the usual schedule between the last Sunday of June and July 1st. At the heart of the event was the parish church of Saint Benedict the Abbot, with a Solemn Mass in honor of the patron saint and the procession that wound through the streets of the village's historic center.
As is traditional in the small towns of the L'Aquila Apennines, the festival combined the religious dimension with the communal one, featuring family gatherings and the intimate, participatory atmosphere that characterizes the patronal feasts of the Navelli Plateau.
