Edition 2025 — Saint Bartholomew Feast

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Saint Bartholomew took place in Ustica on August 24th, preceded by the novena which began on August 15th. After Holy Mass, the day featured the traditional procession of the saint's statue through the village streets and along the coast, with stops, songs, and choreographic runs. The festivities continued with the boat race, musical performances until midnight, and the evocative fireworks display over the waters of the Cala, accompanied by tastings of the island's typical products.

The patronal feast of Saint Bartholomew in Ustica was celebrated on August 24, 2025, with the preparatory novena starting on August 15th. In the morning, ten cannon shots announced the start of the festivities.

After Holy Mass, the saint's statue was carried in procession on the shoulders of the faithful through the streets of the center and along the coast near the port. The day continued with the traditional boat race, musical performances until midnight, and fireworks over the sea, along with tastings of Ustica Lentils and Eggplant. A confirmation of the strong bond between the island, its patron, and its maritime identity, within the context of the Sicily Region.
