Edition 2025 — Saint Bartholomew Feast
The patronal feast of Saint Bartholomew in Ustica was celebrated on August 24, 2025, with the preparatory novena starting on August 15th. In the morning, ten cannon shots announced the start of the festivities.
After Holy Mass, the saint's statue was carried in procession on the shoulders of the faithful through the streets of the center and along the coast near the port. The day continued with the traditional boat race, musical performances until midnight, and fireworks over the sea, along with tastings of Ustica Lentils and Eggplant. A confirmation of the strong bond between the island, its patron, and its maritime identity, within the context of the Sicily Region.
