Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Anthony

In 2025, Castelnovo Bariano also celebrated its patron saint Anthony of Padua with the usual Mass and procession and the community dinner at the Pro Loco stand, upholding a tradition that unites the seven parishes of the Castelmassa pastoral area around the figure of the saint.

The patronal feast of Saint Anthony of Padua accompanies the month of June every year in Castelnovo Bariano, in the province of Rovigo. In 2025, the community renewed the tradition with the Eucharistic celebration and religious procession, led by the priests of the Castelmassa pastoral area and the parish choir, followed by the community dinner at the Pro Loco stand.

The feast reaffirms the strong bond of the Polesine community with its patron saint, also celebrated with the diocesan pilgrimage to the Basilica of Saint Anthony in Padua.
