Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

The 2025 edition

The 2025 festivities in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, protector of Poggioreale, were preceded by the Tredicina (June 1-12) with daily rosaries and Holy Masses in the Chapel of the Patron Saint. The evening of June 11th featured the musical show "Max Potamo and the Vintage" and cabaret with Massimo Spata.

June 12th opened with brass band parades, Holy Mass, and the transfer procession of the Saint from the Chapel to the Mother Church, the blessing of the fields, and, in the evening, the show "Q.P.G.A. — Tribute to Claudio Baglioni". June 13th, the main day, saw the "scampaniata" and alborata at dawn, the parades of the Tammurinari di Corleone, the solemn Holy Mass presided over by Bishop Angelo Giurdanella, and, in the evening, the procession of the Patron Saint and the Holy Crucifix, concluded at midnight by fireworks. The feast was coordinated by Archpriest Giovanni Butera and President Giuseppe Lombardo.

• 19:00 — Holy Mass and solemn Vespers
• 21:30 — Show "Q.P.G.A. — Tribute to Claudio Baglioni"

Friday, June 13th — Main Day

• 09:00 — Parade of the band and the Tammurinari di Corleone
• 11:00 — Solemn Holy Mass presided over by Bishop Angelo Giurdanella
• 16:30 — Parade of the Tammurinari di Corleone
• 17:00 — Brass band parade
• 21:00 — Procession of the Patron Saint and the Holy Crucifix
• 24:00 — Fireworks
