Edition 2025 — Saint Anthony Feast

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Maletto took place on Sunday, September 14, the second Sunday of the month. As per tradition, the festivities began on Thursday with the ringing of bells and the firing of firecrackers, continuing with the Friday Livestock Fair and musical evenings. On Sunday, the solemn procession of the fercolo was held along the Saints' streets, with over five thousand faithful arriving from across the province of Catania.

2025 Edition

The patronal feast of Maletto was celebrated on Sunday, September 14, 2025. The statue of Saint Anthony of Padua was carried on the shoulders of about fifty devotees along the traditional Saints' streets, amidst barefoot faithful and votive candles. The historic Livestock Fair on Friday attracted breeders and curious onlookers to the Fontana Murata area, while fireworks displays accompanied the Saint's departure and return to the Mother Church. The celebration reaffirmed its identity for the town of Maletto and the entire Etna area of the Catania province.
