Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

2025 Edition

The 2025 Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Furnari was celebrated on Wednesday, September 9th. The day began early in the morning with the firing of blank shots, followed by the Eucharistic celebration and the parade of the "Regina d'Italia" brass band from Aci Sant'Antonio through the village streets.

In the afternoon, at the end of the solemn Mass, the procession of the statue began, accompanied by authorities and numerous faithful and devotees. In the evening, entertainment shows and music took place in the square. At midnight, the traditional fireworks display, managed by the Santino Tumore company from San Filippo del Mela, concluded the solemn day.
