Patronal Feast of Saint Anthony Abbot

In 2025, Sant'Angelo Lodigiano once again celebrated its patron saint, Saint Anthony Abbot. The heart of the day was the solemn pontifical mass in the Basilica of Saints Anthony Abbot and Francesca Cabrini, followed by the blessing from the steps and the traditional blessing of animals on the parvis, an ancient rite linked to the saint protector of livestock.

The offelle, the town's typical sweet that takes center stage again for this occasion, were also present, along with the moments of celebration and community that have always characterized the patronal feast in the heart of the Lodi winter.
