Edition 2025 — Saint Albert the Norman Feast
The 136th edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Albert the Norman renewed the ancient rite of Pietramontecorvino in 2025, a village in the Monti Dauni area of the Province of Foggia. On Friday, May 16th, at dawn, after the blessing of the poles in Largo Rosario, hundreds of faithful walked the seven kilometers to the archaeological site of Montecorvino, preceded by the large palii decorated with colorful handkerchiefs that made the procession visible from a distance across the fields.
On Saturday, May 17th, the festivities continued in the historic center: the procession with the statue of the saint and the palii departed at 6:30 PM through the village streets. In the evening, around 9:00 PM, the fireworks display at the Norman Tower of the Ducal Palace preceded the concert in Piazza Martiri del Terrorismo, closing the two days dedicated to Saint Albert.
