Patronal Feast of Saint Adam the Abbot

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Saint Adam the Abbot took place as tradition dictates in early June in Guglionesi (CB). Following the preparatory triduum, the community gathered in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore for the celebrations in honor of the patron saint, culminating in the solemn procession with the saint's triumphal chariot through the streets of the historic center. Alongside the religious rites, the festival offered the usual entertainment and social gatherings, reaffirming its status as one of the most cherished events in Lower Molise and an occasion for Guglionesi expatriates to return.
