Edition 2025 — Patronal Feast Maria Assunta
In 2025, Abbadia Cerreto also celebrated its patron saint Maria SS. Assunta on the first Sunday of September, with a solemn mass in the Romanesque abbey and the participation of the entire community of the Lodi village.
The 2025 patronal feast took place according to the village's established tradition: religious celebration in the ancient Abbey of Saints Peter and Paul, procession, and moments of gathering for the inhabitants of Abbadia Cerreto. A recurrence that, year after year, confirms the bond between the community and its most important monument, a witness to a millennial history in the Lodi plain.
