Edition 2025 — Annunziata Feast in Tuglie

The 2025 edition of the Patronal Feast of Maria SS. Annunziata took place in Tuglie from Saturday, April 26 to Monday, April 28. As per tradition, three days of religious and civil celebrations animated the center of the Salento town, including the patronal procession, the Mazzuchi fair, a carriage parade, illuminations, fireworks, and the customary "banana" gelato ritual.

2025 Edition

In 2025, the community of Tuglie, in the province of Lecce, renewed its patronal feast on the weekend of April 26, 27, and 28. The preparation novena led to the Solemn Mass and the procession with the statue of Maria SS. Annunziata through the streets decorated with illuminations and characteristic hot-air balloons.

The 2025 edition also featured the most iconic events: the historic Mazzuchi Fair at dawn on Sunday, the parade of horses and carriages, the fireworks display, popular games, and musical evenings in Piazza Garibaldi, culminating in the "Nunziateddha" on Monday. Unmissable for residents and visitors alike was the "banana" gelato from the Provenzano pastry shop, a delicious symbol of the festival since 1951.
