Patronal Feast of Maria SS. Annunziata

The 2025 Maria SS. Annunziata Feast was celebrated on July 12th and 13th in the Contrada Annunziata of Sant'Angelo di Brolo. Saturday, July 12th opened with First Vespers and the 8:30 PM Mass. Sunday, July 13th, the day began at 9:00 AM with the arrival of the "V. Bellini Città di Sant'Angelo 2000" musical band; at 11:00 AM, a shuttle service from Piazza Allende connected the center to the Annunziata Church, with the 11:30 AM Mass and the moving blessing rite for pregnant women and new mothers. At 5:30 PM, the solemn procession of the statue of Maria SS. Annunziata began, accompanied by the child dressed as an angel. Following this, the pane cunzato festival and folk and musical performances enlivened the evening in an atmosphere of popular celebration.
