Edition 2025 — Ripalta Feast
The 2025 Patronal Feast of Cerignola took place from September 6th to 9th, with the usual alternation of tradition, music, and civil commitment. The highlight was September 8th, dedicated to Maria SS. di Ripalta: Holy Masses were held in the Cathedral from the early hours of the morning (8:30 AM, 12:15 PM, and 7:00 PM), while at 8:30 PM the procession of the sacred icon began, winding through the streets of the center, passing through Piazza Duomo, Corso Roma, Corso Aldo Moro, Viale Paolo Borsellino, Via Puglie, Via Fratelli Rosselli, Via Bologna, Viale Roosevelt, and Corso Garibaldi. There was no shortage of band concerts, artistic illuminations, and fireworks to close the evenings. The feast had been preceded, on September 5th, by the historical re-enactment of the discovery of the Madonna di Ripalta icon.
