Edition 2025 — Patronal Feast of Sperone

In 2025, the Patronal Feast of Borgo Sperone took place from September 12th to 14th in Gioia dei Marsi, as part of the rich municipal summer calendar that featured over sixty events between July and September. Three days dedicated to the patron saint, Saint Nicholas, with processions, music, and conviviality in the Marsican village.

2025 Edition

The Patronal Feast of Borgo Sperone in 2025 was held from Friday, September 12th to Sunday, September 14th, as part of the summer calendar of Gioia dei Marsi, which that year featured over sixty events including culture, music, and nature. The festivities in honor of Saint Nicholas of Bari combined the religious dimension, with the patron saint's procession, with secular celebrations including musical evenings and food stalls. The celebrations were also accompanied by the "Borgo di Sperone Day," an opportunity for the entire community of the hamlet in the Fucino Plain to meet.
