Edition 2025 — Oxen Race

In 2025, Asigliano Vercellese celebrated the 589th Oxen Race, from May 8 to 13, with the votive race held on Sunday, May 11, at noon. The Cascina Varalla team triumphed, ahead of Cascina Malfiossa, W San Vittore, and W San Vittore Junior. A week of festivities including a procession, food pavilion, dance evenings, and theatrical shows.

The 589th edition of the Patronal Feast of Asigliano Vercellese took place from May 8 to 13, 2025. The Oxen Race, the heart of the event, was held on Sunday, May 11, at 12:00 PM, fulfilling the vow to Saint Victor for the 589th year. Victory went to the Cascina Varalla team, followed by Cascina Malfiossa, W San Vittore, and W San Vittore Junior. As per tradition, the week alternated moments of faith — torchlight procession, procession, blessing of the bread — with social gatherings at the food pavilion, dance evenings, exhibitions, and theatrical shows, confirming the Oxen Race as one of the most beloved traditions in the Vercelli area.
