Edition 2025 — Feast of Saints Vincent and Anastasius
The 2025 edition
In 2025, the Patronal Feast of Rignano Flaminio, in the Metropolitan City of Rome, took place from January 17th to 26th. The lighting of the traditional fire in honor of Saint Anthony the Abbot in Piazza della Repubblica opened the calendar, followed by popular games, performances by folkloristic bands, and an initial firework display.
On January 22nd, the day of the solemnity, the 11:00 AM Eucharist was presided over by Bishop Marco Salvi, followed by the procession along the decorated streets of the historic center. The secular program included theater shows at the Paladino Municipal Theater, chess and card tournaments, a soccer tournament, giant mascots, and hot-air balloon releases. The closing of the octave, on Sunday, January 26th, featured a solemn Mass, a blessing with the relics of the patron saints, and the grand concluding firework display. The event was organized by the Pro Loco with the support of the Municipality.
