Edition 2025 — Saint Ciriacus Feast
The 2025 edition
The 2025 patronal festivities of Torre Le Nocelle, in the province of Avellino, took place from August 7 to 10 according to the usual calendar that unites Saint Donatus, Saint Ciriacus, and Saint Lawrence. The most attended moment was August 8: after the morning masses and the arrival of the brass band, the parade of wagons crossed Piazza Vittoria at 10:00 AM, and at noon, the solemn procession carried the saint's reliquary bust through the streets of the historic center, amidst songs and prayers. In the afternoon, there were daytime fireworks, in the evening the brass band performance, and at midnight the long-awaited firework display.
The secular program saw the village streets illuminated by artistic light installations and lined with stalls selling local Irpinian products, with live bands alternating over the various evenings and a comedy show by the duo Gigi and Ross. As per tradition, the days of the feast brought emigrant residents back to the village, making Torre Le Nocelle one of the most heartfelt devotional events in Irpinia.
