Edition 2025 — Patron Saint's Festival of Carpi

In 2025, Carpi once again celebrated its patron saint, Saint Bernardino of Siena, with the city festival culminating on May 20th. The program, developed by the Diocese, the Municipality, and local associations, combined liturgical celebrations, cultural events, and community initiatives in the historic center, with the procession and Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral as the focal point of the patron saint's day.

The 2025 edition of the Patron Saint's Festival of Carpi upheld the tradition that has linked the city to Saint Bernardino of Siena for about five centuries. In the days surrounding May 20th, encounters, concerts, and solidarity events took place in the historic center, in Piazza Martiri, and in the city's churches, culminating in the solemn procession with the Saint's bust and the Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral, presided over by the Bishop of Carpi. The event reaffirmed the strong bond between faith, culture, and community that characterizes the patron saint's festival in the heart of Emilia-Romagna.
