Edition 2025 — Saint Donatus in Sessano

In 2025, Sessano del Molise also celebrated its patron saint Saint Donatus the Martyr on August 7th with a solemn mass, a procession of the effigy, and civil celebrations, a day that brought together the community and emigrants who returned for the summer.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Donatus festival confirmed the patronal tradition of Sessano del Molise: religious services in the parish church, the procession of the saint's effigy through the streets of the center, and evening civil celebrations. The festival, with free admission, brought together citizens and Sessano families who returned to the village in the heart of the Molise summer.
