Edition 2025 — Pastorale di Nardu

In 2025, the Pastorale di Nardu once again enlivened Santa Elisabetta for Epiphany, confirming its status as one of the most heartfelt folk events in the province of Agrigento. The traveling performance, the Ricotta Festival, and the traditional pasta with ricotta shared in the maiddra attracted numerous visitors and curious onlookers to the village.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Pastorale di Nardu took place in Santa Elisabetta during the Epiphany period, renewing a centuries-old tradition that the Agrigento village guards with care. The sacred performance crossed the streets of the historic center, from the Mother Church towards the lower part of the village, with Nardu and the shepherds starring in the customary scenes of peasant life.

The Ricotta Festival accompanied the day with tastings of fresh ricotta and tuma, a dairy market, and a festive atmosphere marked by bagpipes and drums, culminating in the sharing of pasta with ricotta and the final show.
