Edition 2025 — Passion of Christ of Naro

In 2025, the Passion of Christ of Naro renewed the oldest rite in Sicily during Holy Week. The highlight was Good Friday, April 18, with the reenactment of the final thirty hours of Christ's life in the streets and churches of the historic center, directed by Massimiliano Arena and the iContemplAttivi association. The edition concluded with the seventh Naro Passion Day.

2025 Edition

In 2025, the Passion of Christ of Naro (Agrigento province) confirmed its role as the oldest sacred Easter representation in Sicily. The heart of the event was Good Friday, April 18, 2025, when the streets and churches of the historic center hosted the reenactment of the final thirty hours of Christ's earthly life: the Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

The actors, directed by Massimiliano Arena for the iContemplAttivi association, animated an itinerant path with free admission, open to all, under the patronage of the Sicilian Regional Assembly and the Municipality of Naro. The edition closed with the seventh edition of Naro Passion Day, a convivial moment of reflection that celebrated the identity value of the Naro tradition, guarded by the community for over four centuries.
