In 2025, the Passiata di San Diodoro confirmed its fixed spot in the Val Fortore running calendar: the event was held on Sunday, September 14, in San Marco dei Cavoti, in the province of Benevento, with the start at 4:20 PM from the traditional Piazza Risorgimento line and the 12.8 kilometers of racing to cover between descents, climbs, and the Sole Bianco wall.

Bib pickup for the competitive race took place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, while registrations for the Mini Passiata were collected in the square from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with the children's start at 3:30 PM from Largo Ariella. Online registration management and timing were entrusted to Icron; the voice of Zagara Arancio was at the microphone, while medical assistance was guaranteed by Misericordia volunteers, with doctors, rescuers, and a mobile resuscitation unit.

As per tradition, each participant received the race pack with typical Sannio products and the event's technical bib, which has accompanied one of the most anticipated races in inland Campania since 1974, attracting athletes from several regions.
