2025 Edition — the 24th Plan cattle drive
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Plan/Pfelders, in the Passeier Valley (Municipality of Moos in Passeier), hosted the 24th edition of the Passeirer Almabtrieb. Around 11:00 AM, the herd departed from the Lazinser Alm to reach the festival square around noon, amidst crowds of spectators who came to admire the flower-adorned cattle.
The shepherds' festival was enlivened from the morning by music from the groups Vernuerer Böhmische and UBoot Krainer, followed by performances by the Psairer Goaslschnöller and the Passeier Ranggeln championship. There was no shortage of gastronomic specialties from the valley, served throughout the day in an authentic autumn festival atmosphere.
