Passeggiata alle Salvine Walk

The Passeggiata alle Salvine is a recurring event on the mid-May calendar of the Friends of Bagneri. The 2025 edition also followed the usual formula: morning meeting on the Tracciolino trail above Bagneri, an easy two-hour hike through the huts and wildflower meadows of the Salvine pastures, above Muzzano in the Elvo Valley (Province of Biella), and then the noon Mass with the blessing of the pastures.

Following this, as every year, there was the distribution of polenta concia prepared by the locals and, in the afternoon, a guided tour of the village of Bagneri and the Ecomuseum of Mountain Civilization, the heart of a mountain community kept alive by volunteers.
