Edition 2025 — Parola per Parola

The second edition of the Parola per Parola Literary Festival was held in Belpasso from April 10th to 13th, 2025, with the theme of "words that unite". Four days of meetings, exhibitions, and theatre, organized by the Fondazione Carri di Santa Lucia with the Pro Loco of Belpasso and directed by Katya Maugeri, culminating in the award ceremony for the "Belpasso between the lines" competition.

The second edition of Parola per Parola brought Belpasso, in the province of Catania, to life from April 10th to 13th, 2025, under the banner of "words that unite". Among the most anticipated events was the theatrical performance "Siamo, ancor prima di essere", staged on Friday, April 11th, at the Nino Martoglio Theatre: an emotional journey through intense historical correspondences, demonstrating the power of letters capable of resisting time and distance.

The Mail Art exhibition was set up at Palazzo Bufali, with very high participation and works arriving from all over Italy. The final evening, Sunday, April 13th, culminated in the award ceremony for the "Belpasso between the lines" competition, preceded by the screening of the short film "Tuo Luigi", directed by Emmanuele Giuffrida and Antonello Signorello. There were also meetings with scholars and journalists and the presentation of a volume dedicated to the history of cinema in Sicily.
