Edition 2025 — PARMA 360

The ninth edition of PARMA 360, from April 12 to May 25, 2025, had the theme «MEMORIES», a reflection on remembrance in its intimate, existential, and historical dimensions, set within the celebrations for the eightieth anniversary of the Liberation. Across visual arts, photography, illustration, and olfactory art, the festival brought contemporary art to deconsecrated churches, historic palaces, and medieval towers in Parma's city center, under the artistic direction of Chiara Canali and Camilla Mineo.

The 2025 edition of PARMA 360 focused on memory, explored as personal, existential, and historical recollection in the year of the eightieth anniversary of the Liberation. Among the main exhibitions, at Palazzo del Governatore, the large group show «IF THIS IS A MAN. Art Remembers. Humanity Resists», inspired by Primo Levi's novel; at Torrione Visconteo, «OLFACTORY PLANETS» by Francesca Casale Sensu, dedicated to olfactory art; at Galleria San Ludovico, the exhibition by Mario Giacomelli; and at Complesso di San Paolo, illustrators Francesco Chiacchio, Manuele Fior, Andrea Serio, and Elisa Talentino. The exhibition route, spread throughout Parma's historic center, reaffirmed the festival's commitment to fostering dialogue between contemporary art and the city's heritage.
