Parco Urbano delle Cantine di Rapolla

The 21st edition of the Parco Urbano delle Cantine di Rapolla was held on October 11-12, 2025. The village of Vulture opened the doors of its rock-hewn cellars dug into the tuff stone of Fosso Tiglio and Via Monastero, illuminated by thousands of candles, for an itinerary featuring Aglianico del Vulture, roasted chestnuts, mushrooms, and autumn vegetables. The program included the medieval procession from Piazza Garibaldi with falconers, flag wavers, and dancers, Slow Food workshops on cheeses from the Vulture Natural Park, a masterclass on Aglianico curated by the Regional Wine Cellar, and the traditional barefoot grape treading, confirming its reputation as one of the most beautiful autumn sagre in Basilicata.
