Edition 2025 — Piedmontese Theatre Piasco

The 29th edition of the Piedmontese Theatre Festival took place in Piasco from January 25 to February 22, 2025, and marked the first edition dedicated to the memory of Paolo Mattio, the founder of the event who passed away a few months earlier. Five dialect comedies, every Saturday at 9:00 PM at the Sala Dottor Serra, with proceeds donated to the Casa di Fatima in Marsabit, Kenya.

The 2025 edition of the Piedmontese Theatre Festival had a special meaning: for the first time, the event was named after Paolo Mattio, former deputy mayor of Piasco and its creator nearly thirty years earlier, who passed away in July 2024 at the age of 64.

The programme brought together five amateur theatre companies from Piedmont to the Sala Polivalente Dottor Serra: Ij Motobin from Villanovetta di Verzuolo with "Non ti conosco più" (January 25), El Fornel from Racconigi (February 1), D'la Vila from Verzuolo (February 8), Attori per caso from Roata Rossi (February 15), and the Siparietto di San Matteo APS from Moncalieri (February 22). The proceeds were donated to the Casa di Fatima in Marsabit, Kenya, a facility that welcomes children with disabilities.
