Edition 2025 — Panevin
In 2025, the Panevin of Treviso took place on the evening of January 5th, the eve of Epiphany, reaffirming a deeply cherished tradition in the Marca Trevigiana: in the province alone, over a hundred bonfires were lit on the same evening.
Even in the city, bonfires were lit in multiple districts, organized by parishes and neighborhood associations, with the Befana atop the pyre, the distribution of mulled wine and pinza, folk songs, and the observation of sparks for new year predictions.
Programme
Sunday, January 5, 2025 — Districts of Treviso
- Evening (around 8:00 PM–8:30 PM) — Lighting of the Panevin bonfires in the various city districts
- Befana silhouette on the pyre, distribution of mulled wine and pinza
- Songs, nursery rhymes, and observation of sparks for omens
The evening was part of the grand night of bonfires in the Marca Trevigiana, with over a hundred simultaneous ignitions in the province.
