Edition 2025 — Palpitare di Nessi
2025 Edition — The Danilo Dolci Centenary
The second edition of the Palpitare di Nessi Festival was held from June 27th to 29th, 2025, at the Danilo Dolci Village in Trappeto, concluding the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the birth of the educator of nonviolence.
The program alternated between theatrical performances, panel discussions, photography exhibitions, concerts, and poetic incursions. Highlights included: the panel discussion "Ecology, Work, and Territorial Self-Determination from Danilo Dolci to Today"; the theatrical performance by the youth of the Village and the Danilo Dolci Popular University of Trappeto; the Opera dei Pupi (Puppet Opera) "L'infanzia di Orlando" with puppeteers Giacomo Cuticchio, Giuseppe Graffeo, Tania Giordano, and Elisa Puleo; and the screening of the short film "Deferred Reclaim" by Abdallah Motan, winner of the Al Ard Film Festival. All events were free to attend and open to the public.
