Edition 2025 — Pallio della Carriera

In the summer of 2025, the Pallio della Carriera brought Carpineto Romano to life with its usual calendar of events: from the July knights' selection to the 'Dinner with the Cardinal' re-enactment, culminating in the historical pageant and the Disfida Equestre in late August, all in the spirit of the 17th-century Aldobrandini re-enactment.

The 2025 edition of the Pallio della Carriera confirmed the vitality of one of the most beloved historical re-enactments in the Lazio region. In Carpineto Romano, in the Lepini Mountains, the seven districts once again competed for the pallio amidst traditional rituals, costumed processions, and the grand ring-jousting race. The event spanned the Carpineto summer, with the Knights' Selection in July, the re-enactment dinner in the gardens of the Reggia dei Volsci, and the culmination of the Disfida Equestre during the patronal feast of Saint Augustine.
