The 2025 edition: «CineMaOltre the borders»

From November 14 to 16, 2025, the Teatro Palladium in Garbatella, Rome, hosted a new edition of the Palladium Film Festival – CineMaOltre, dedicated to the theme of crossing borders — between genres, techniques, and the responsibility of the gaze. Organized by the Department of Philosophy, Communication and Performing Arts of Roma Tre University with the Fondazione Roma Tre Teatro Palladium, the festival intertwined critical reflection, independent cinema, and the memory of great Italian cinema.

Among the highlights were the inaugural round table on the responsibility of images in times of war, the screening of The Voice of Hind Rajab by Kaouther Ben Hania (Jury Prize in Venice) with a speech by Doctors Without Borders, and the closing with the restoration of Ecce bombo by Nanni Moretti. The Carta Bianca competition awarded the best short films by young authors under 30 from universities and film schools.
