Edition 2025 — Palio of Saint John the Baptist

The XXXI edition of the Palio of Saint John the Baptist took place in Fabriano in June 2025, confirming the formula that each year, from mid-month until June 24, enlivens the historic center of the Marche region. The four Gates — Borgo, Cervara, Piano, and Pisana — competed in pageants, flower carpets, medieval taverns, and the Hammer Challenge, in honor of the city's patron saint.

In 2025, the Palio of Saint John the Baptist reached its XXXI edition, renewing the event that since 1995 brings Fabriano back to the atmosphere of the 14th century every June. In that edition too, the historic center of this Marche town hosted the historical pageant with hundreds of costumed figures, artistic flower carpets, medieval taverns, and races between the four city Gates, culminating in the Hammer Challenge on June 24, the patron saint's day. The event once again proved to be among the most cherished historical re-enactments in the Marche region, capable of uniting faith, tradition, and community identity.
