Palio di Pesaro 2025

The Palio di Pesaro 2025 was held from August 1 to 3, bringing the challenge between the twelve city districts back to Rocca Costanza. The event, organized by the Municipality of Pesaro, featured a renewed format spread over three days.

Friday, August 1, marked the opening in the city gardens with Mayor Andrea Biancani, folk dances, and the historical show with flag-throwers and fire games in the Rocca's pine grove, culminating in the parade of the twelve Palio Ladies on the fortress bridge. Saturday, August 2, featured the great novelty of the Palio dei Bòcia, a relay race for children with wooden horses in the colors of the districts, from the church of Sant'Agostino to the Rocca, preceded by the PlayTheCity treasure hunt and followed by concerts and DJ sets. Sunday, August 3, was the highlight: the districts' parade, the heats, and the 'corsa col focón' in the moat, with the proclamation of the winning district.
