Palio of Casole d'Elsa

The 2025 edition, the 149th, brought Casole d'Elsa to life for nearly three weeks. The calendar opened on June 23 with tournaments between the contrade—volleyball from June 23 to 27 and five-a-side football from June 30 to July 4 at the sports field—continuing with the Aperipalio on July 5 in Piazza della Libertà and the Vessillo on July 8, the parade of the contrade in the historic center.

The race, scheduled for Sunday, July 13, was postponed due to bad weather and took place under clear skies on the evening of Tuesday, July 15. The Casole Campagna contrada triumphed with the horse Chimera da Clodia and jockey Antonio Siri, known as Amsicora. The drappellone was created by artist Jasmine Fontanelli.
